It was apparent early on after achieving licensure to practice in the State of Texas as a Physical Therapist that Dr. Brindle was frequently and routinely rehabilitating patients with complex neurological and vestibular conditions in many different settings and holds a passion for investigating these debilitating conditions. While working in a large hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation program his affinity for vestibular conditions grew and he attended the Emory School of Medicine for post-doctorate training and achieved Competency Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation.
Dr. Brindle is constantly seeking to change the current model of Physical Therapy practice towards autonomy and independence, with patient’s rights and needs for Direct Access to Physical Therapy AND Direct Care services forefront in his endeavors. He started Heart of Texas Physical Therapy in 2015 then formed Heart of Texas Physical Therapy, PLLC in January of 2016 whose focus is comprehensive Health and Wellness services as an attempt to reach as many of these patients as possible. Future growth of Heart of Texas Physical Therapy, PLLC will be to open state of the art facilities not only in Waco but also expand to surrounding areas. Jacob lives with his wife Dr. Lindsey Brindle who is also a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Licensed Physical Therapist, in Waco, TX. They especially take advantage of any opportunity to enjoy family time with their children. Jacob and Lindsey are very enthusiastic about doing God’s work by serving the community, healing His people, and seeking the welfare of the city.
